EMPATHY Another form that some believe is a type of mental telepathy is Empathy. This is where a person has the ability to directly experience the emotions of others. Being able to mentally “put themselves in another’s shoes” and understand how they must be feeling is something that certain people are better at than others.
Empathic responses can be heightened with training and practice, like in the case of actors that can easily cry or laugh for example, when they are injecting themselves into a fictional story. ‘Sympathetic pain’feeling another person’s pain as if it were your own is something expectant fathers mention, some claiming they can feel the mother’s labor pains at the same time she is experiencing them. If someone close to you is experiencing an overwhelming emotion, you may feel an echo of the same emotion inside you, and mothers often describe this uneasy feeling when their child has been injured. The phenomena of long distance empathy, where a person suddenly feels that someone close to them is in danger, even though they are not near the person at the time is common in other relationships, as well. Non believers may scoff at these happenings and call them as just gimmicks of a highly active imagination.
Yes, there is some validity in the point since there are other senses in play as well.
For example, the question that will we are able to feel the same hurt without knowing that the person is hurt is a valid one. Nevertheless long distance empathy and such related phenomena do not fall in the realms of these explanations.
Telepathy means ‘feelings over a distance’. Telepathy is the direct transmission of emotions or mental imagery from one person to another without using words, sight, hearing, touching, tasting, or smelling.
When we use our minds to convey what we are thinking without speaking is like having another step on a ladder only you can use. It may not be easy to figure out when and why humans do not experience telepathy as the norm any more. It is hard to pinpoint when or why humans lost their ability to communicate telepathically, but it is important to realize that in some forms we feel it every day. We need to examine a few methods that you may be able to utilize to reactivate your own telepathic tendencies. ‘Mental-Muscle’ training Just like you weren’t born knowing how to use your mouth and your vocal chords to speak, you have to train the appropriate part of your mind to use your telepathy. It is easiest to access the part of your brain which controls telepathic function when you are in a trance state. You can reach this state of deep relaxation by using relaxation techniques including meditation. You need to learn how to make your mind relax so that you are able to get into a trance fairly simply. When you can succeed at this you are on your way to training your mind to be controlled by you.
It’s a well known fact that humans only use around 10% of their brains.
The function of other 90% remains a mystery to most people.
What many of us don’t realize is that all of us are born with a natural ability to communicate without speaking or even moving our bodies. This is the essence of telepathic communication. During our childhood we are taught that appropriate behavior means acting, thinking, and speaking like our parents and other adult role models.
Since they were never taught to harness the power of the mind to communicate with each other, we never learn this skill either. The ability to communicate telepathically remains undeveloped and unused. Consequently those abilities have faded into the background simply to surface on those occasions of instantly knowing who is on the other end of the phone when it rings. Is this a psychic ability or are we communicating with others through telepathy. Did you receive a message from someone needing to contact you?
As with any other form of transmission, we are taught as children by our parents. Our parents teach us speech and body language, so that we mimic the same tongue and even the same accents. This is because as humans, we all have the same capability to learn to transmit, but we only communicate in the ways in which we were taught. What if they did not teach us to use that ‘other’ ability the one where we can communicate with our minds – telepathic communication? Does this mean we can’t do it? No. It just means we were never taught how. The part of your brain which is responsible for telepathy is most readily retrieved while you are in a trance phase.
This is a state of high tranquility which can be obtained by meditation and other methods. The key is to exercise relaxation techniques until you can easily attain the hypnotic state. Once you have obtained this, you’ll be well on your way to mastering your telepathic capacities.
