Intertwining Thoughts And Telepathy.
Telepathy is being able to get in tune with someone else no matter where you are located. It is a direct link mentally without need to be in the vicinity of the other person in question.
Communication is not always limited to vocalization or writing, we can convey thoughts or feelings by a look or a touch. Telepathy is removing all normal conventions and feeling through a long distance, and without technology like telephones or email. It is a meeting of the minds as it were. Many animals can convey thoughts or feeling without speaking or touching. This may be known as instinctual behavior, but many believe animals are more than likely telepathic. Many who study this behavior in animals claim it to be true and since there is no science that disproves it, it can be believed.
It is thought that there are some people who live together that still share this mental ability to share ideas within their group or culture.
Why did society lose their abilities of telepathy for the most part? The answer is not an easy one but belief and practice are the most likely culprits. As society progressed, our beliefs changed and a big part of that was religion. The faith’s that people practice today all but discount telepathy and actually make this ability out to be a type of demonic possession.
It is not known exactly when we lost our ability to use telepathy on a regular basis, it may be that we have just simply closed our minds to the fact that we are telepathic.
Most are familiar with the concept of our sixth sense, this is assumed to be the telepathic ability of human kind. While this is no longer second nature in people, some animals still have this ability and people can re learn to use this sense.
Another issue that we have in today’s society with telepathy is that it cannot be scientifically proven to exist. The doubting Thomas’ of today need to see proof and where there is none, they believe that it does not actually exist. It cannot me measured, touched or tasted so how can it possibly be? Without that, most people will not take it serious. The contradiction of course is that they have “faith” in their religion yet because their religion tells them that this is only a thing of evil, they now believe that it doesn’t exist. It just doesn’t make any sense.
Religious fervor can be accounted for some of the loss of telepathic ability along with natural evolution and need. It is easier for man to think that these telepathic feelings being sent from a higher power than from within themselves. If a higher power is giving us these thoughts, we are more inclined to believe in that power. It makes the gods more powerful in our minds.
It may be that as the world population grew, our need for telepathy began to wane as our survival was not dependent upon it and putting this sense on to a higher power made more sense at the time.
The main theory as to why religion has denounced telepathy is because of a base power struggle between the spiritual leaders of certain churches and faiths. These unscrupulous leaders would rather our faith be in the deity of their chosen religion rather than in ourselves. This gives more weight to their specific god or holy leader and makes it easier to have faith in them.
