Telepathy Is An Ancient Art

Have you ever thought that human beings can learn telepathy? Telepathy can be defined as seeing or transmitting feelings over a long distance; you don't use the five recognized senses and you don't use words. When you are thinking about telepathy, it is mental communication that can be conveyed instantly over any distance.

Think again if you think that it is impossible for you to learn telepathy. Chances are, you have already had some sort of telepathic experience but you didn't recognize what it was or what it meant. Have you ever thought about someone that you have seen or spoken to in ages and then, suddenly and out of the blue, had a call or an email from them the very next day? This has happened to just about everyone.

This experience was a telepathic contact. One or the other or both of you contacted the other person's mind and transmitted emotions about them, spurring contact.

Essentially, you were telepathic contact to spur you to connect in some other way, like verbally. There was a chance that you thought of them and that gave them the idea to call you, or maybe you were just creating return signals of them thinking about you. There is even a chance that you were in a position where they wanted to contact you and you picked up on their intent right before they actually did so. There are a number of ways that this can work, and this is something that is quite interesting to think about.

A large percentage of the population believes that there are reasons they can't learn telepathy. They may feel that this form of communication is magical or demonic, and is to be avoided - these are usually religious reasons. These people suppress any experiences they have, and never try to learn to develop their abilities. Other people have been told that telepathy isn't real, and that believing in it is irrational and a superstition since there's no scientific evidence available to them.

One real barrier to people learning to use their telepathic abilities is a myth that's actually held by many practitioners of this form of communication. Some people have the idea that ordinary spoken language just isn't as good as telepathy, and that it's the product of not using telepathic abilities. This isn't true, either! Words go with telepathy the same way that they lyrics of a song combine with its music.

In an analogy like that, these two things complement each other. One will enhance the other. Lyrics and the written word will be used to more clearly denote what is going on using the telepathic feelings and it means that they are both equally important. Over time, people started to be come so reliant on the language portion of things that they simply did not bother to develop the telepathic aspect of thing again.

If this is something that piques your interest, and you feel like you are ready to take on perception and to increase your closeness with people, what can you do to learn telepathy. It's not nearly as difficult as it sounds and like anything else, you need practice.

The first step in learning telepathy is finding a good partner. The best partner for this kind of exercise is someone open minded and interested in the subject. Ideally, they should be someone close to you whom you've known for a long time, and they should also be interested in learning how to use telepathic communication. After all, when you're just starting out, you need lots of positive reinforcement.

Next, you should stop and separate from each other to the point where you can't physically see one another. Take some time to relax and to do some breathing exercises. Being tense will interfere with your ability to do it properly and keep you from succeeding. Remember that your mind should be free from stress and worries. Have a method to get in touch with each other right away, like phone or Internet chat.

Take turns. If you are starting out, tell the other person that you are going to be visualizing something. Picture the other person in your mind as clearly as you can, and then imagine something binding the two of you together. Maybe it is a golden light that shines on you both or maybe it is a glowing thread of pure energy that binds you together.

Using that cloud or that line as a connection, send them an image, the way you would dial a phone to make a call or that you would scan an image to send a fax. Make sure that at this beginning stage, it stays simple. Think about a photograph of your kids that you have close to hand or something similar, something that is equally easy.

Once you feel that your telepathic transmission has been completed, contact your partner via cell phone and ask what they saw from your mind, if anything. Compare notes, then switch who's sending and who's receiving.

When you're just starting out, remember to take things slowly. If after fifteen minutes, you don't feel like you've been able to make a transmission, stop and take a break. Your initial efforts need to be brief to keep you from tiring yourself out, and to keep negative feelings from having an impact on your progress.

If you are interested in the idea of learning telepathy, stay positive and don't give up! You'll start to see results and then you'll be entering into a brand new world.
