Telepathy And Communication
Did you know that you can learn telepathy? Here, telepathy is defined as the ability sense or to transmit feelings over a distance without using the senses of sight, scent, touch, taste or hearing. What we are looking at here is a mind to mind communication that happens instantaneously, regardless of the distance!
Many people believe that they cannot learn telepathy, but they are wrong. Chances are, you have even done it before, and not know what was happening? Have you ever thought about someone that you have not spoken to or even thought of until that moment, and then just a little bit later you get a call or a letter from them? You may not have spoken in ages, but suddenly, like magic, there they are!
Essentially, a telepathic connection was established that day. Emotions came into play, and your wish to hear about that person or to figure out what they have been up to translated itself into a connection that you “communicated” your wish through.
This contact was why the other person decided to get in touch. Perhaps you were the one to think of them first. When they received your feelings, they decided it was time to get back in contact. Maybe they were the one to signal you, and you thought of them, returning information that made them feel like they should contact you. You may even have been the one to pick up on their idea to contact you before they were able to do it.
There are lots of reasons that people feel that they might not be able to learn telepathy. They may have had a religious upbringing that taught them that telepathy is sorcery or belonging to the devil. If this is the case, they are probably quite willing to suppress any sort of telepathic experience that they ha or to simply refuse to recognize them. People might also be reluctant to believe in anything that doesn't have a scientific backing, but the truth is that there definitely is!
When you are looking at starting to work with telepathy, one thing that stops people is something that many people who use it actually believe. This is the belief that spoken language is somehow less desirable and that it only came into use because our telepathic abilities decayed. This is as untrue as any myth listed above, and once upon a time, telepathy and the spoken word went together like music and lyrics.
In this context, think of spoken word as the lyrics and of telepathy as the music. Both can be heard on their own, but they enhance the other. Words will tell you more directly what the telepathic feelings are all about and this is why they came about in the first place. Over the the ages, though, people became so dependent on the word that they forgot how to develop their telepathic abilities.
After hearing all that, there is a good chance that your interest is piqued and you are going to want to see what you can do to learn this amazing talent. You'll find that it is no where near as difficult as you might be afraid of and that all it takes is a little bit of practice.
First, find yourself a partner. Hopefully, he r she is someone you know very well and who is open minded to the possibility of things like telepathic powers. Look for someone who has the same burning desire to learn that you do, and you'll find that this can make it much easier for you to get started and it can help along the way.
Second, you and your partner should be in different places, at least to where you can't see each other. Start by relaxing and making sure that you feel at ease with yourself and the situation. Remember that stress and tension can negatively affect the way you see things. Clear your mind of worry or of anything besides doing well. Have a method of talking with the other person nearby, whether that is on the phone or over Internet chat.
Agree on which one of you will start the practice, then visualize the other person as clearly as you possibly can in your mind. Picture a connection between you - examples include fields of glowing golden light or a thread of light between you, connecting your minds.
The next step is sending your thoughts along that thread or between the lights. Make the image clear and simple, and send it the way you'd imagine a phone call or Internet transmission occurring. Remember to choose something that's easy to imagine, but not easy for the other person to guess.
Keep at this until you feel as thought the transmission has been sent. Then contact the person and ask if they saw anything in their mind. This is the time when you will compare notes and then switch and let them try you.
Don't exhaust yourself right out of the gate. Make sure that you keep your first attempts quick and easy so that you don't get discouraged. This can take some time so remember that practice makes perfect.
When you are looking at learning telepathy, remember that you should stay positive about it. Don't give up, and you'll see results. Don't miss out on this chance to enter a brand new world!
