The meaning of telepathy is a person being able to project their thoughts, feelings, or emotions into another person's mind, by only using their own mind.

Everyone has the ability to use telepathy on some scale, but they have lost the knowledge of how to control it consciously. All people are capable of moments of telepathic type activity happening in their subconscious. Now think how it would be to be in the position to control this ability and actually utilize it for communication purposes.

There are those that are skeptics when it comes to the subject of any kind of powers the mind can have, but think about this: how often have you felt on top of the world, and then you run into someone who is having a bad day. Just by talking to them for a bit, you begin to feel as depressed as they are.

Was it their words which got you down so quickly? It wasn?t; it?s actually your natural telepathy which picked up on their emotions.

There has been research which has shown that the part of the subconscious which governs telepathic abilities can be awakened and even used at will! The first step is to focus on the person you want to communicate with telepathically.

As children we are taught, as with all forms of communication, by parents and teachers. We are taught speech and body language by our elders and we imitate what we are taught even accents are the same. We all have the identical ability to learn communication. We only do so in the manner we are taught.

If we were never taught to use this other ability by our parents, communication with our mind, does this mean we would not be able to do it? No it wouldn?t, it just means we were not taught how.

Now take a look at ways you might do to develop your dormant telepathy abilities.

Look at some ways to awaken your latent telepathic abilities.

?Mental-Muscle? training

The area of your mind that controls the abilities for telepathy are strongest in the subconscious stage, or in a hypnotic type trance stage. This stage is one all people have the ability to reach without a lot of effort.

You must learn to relax your mind. Then you will easily achieve this state of a trance and when you?ve accomplished this, you are ready to begin to start training your mind, and control at it will.

Focus!

Learning to keep your mind's concentration as you are in the state of a trance is a bit tough to master at times. While you are doing your next relaxation period, concentrate on someone that you want to connect with you.

Keep visualizing this person as you enter your trance. Project positive thoughts toward them and visualize these signals moving from you to them. Visualize this person receiving your thoughts; do this for a few minutes to make sure that they receive them.

It?s important to completely terminate your focus. You need to do this so the individual will feel the disconnection between you and promptly re-establish the connection with you in return.

The purpose of doing this practice while you are by yourself, is that once you try it on your partner (described next), your mind will know what to do, and you will have an easier time sending and receiving thoughts or feelings.

Time for Practice with a Partner

In this exercise, one partner sends, the other receives. The sender should begin by projecting simple messages to the receiver, such as images of bright colors.

The receiver should write down all telepathic messages that they receive during the exercise.

The end of each session you will compare notes and see what impressions and images are matched. The more you practice the more accurately, the images you are receiving will become.
