When we stop to take a look around ourselves at the world in which we live, we will see planes flying people all over the planet. Computers and other high tech devices communicate with each other. We live in a world where something as simple as a lighter can conjure up a flame in someone's hand. Yet, there are people who dismiss the possibility of telepathy as merely the stuff of fiction.

As Arthur C. Clarke once said 'Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic'. It is certainly true that technology has advanced almost beyond what we could have imagined even fifty years ago. Using technology which is out of date by today's standards we have walked on the moon, visited the bottom of the ocean and created communication technologies which work without wires ? it most certainly would appear to someone living a century ago that ours is a world filled with magic and unexplainable phenomena.

Telepathy is thought of today, at least by most people, as some kind of 'magic'-and so, something mystical. Yet, history proves that all kinds of things that are science today were 'magic' back when few people understood them or they were believed to be impossible. So…why can't telepathy be another one of these natural phenomena that is simply written off by many as superstitious magic today because, as of yet, it hasn't been fully comprehended by science?

The fields of paraphysics and parapsychology study (among other things) telepathic communication. Experiments are conducted in a scientific manner into the phenomenon of telepathy, with new data coming to light all of the time.

And, some of their experiments have brought tantalizing results to light. Unfortunately, there has never been a set of telepathic experiments that gives measurable, consistent, and repeatable results. This leads many people to conclude that telepathy has been disproven. But, other researchers insist that we haven't yet designed the right experiments because telepathy is still so new to us.

Science has not disproven the existence of telepathic people. But is it possible to communicate without using any of our five senses? Just by thought alone? The answer is somewhat of an obvious one. We would have to use a means that we cannot employ our senses to detect but the means exists nonetheless. Science and technology have already done it in the high tech way. Consider radio waves. True, we cannot see them, touch them, taste, hear or smell them, but we all know that they most certainly do exist.

..Or, is it? One thing that science does know and acknowledge is that there are electromagnetic waves generated by the brain called 'thought waves'. And researchers who have not dismissed telepathy say that this is the key insight that is needed to understand it.

Whenever we have a thought, there are a series of biochemical processes in our brains, which include the transmission from neuron to neuron of tiny electrical impulses. These are measurable impulses, small as they are. Like any other electrical charge, they create a magnetic field as well. In our minds there are tens of thousands of these impulses happening at any moment.

The question which research into telepathy seeks to answer is if these bio-electric and bio-magnetic fields can be used as a medium of communication. Is it possible to convey information in these impulses and if so, can the ability to communicate this way be learned through training? Can meditation and controlled thought exercises be useful in learning to make one?s brainwaves into a viable means of communication?

The electrical and magnetic fields produced by our brains are small and can be easily drowned out by the electro magnetic fields produced by all our stereos, televisions, microwaves, computers, fridges, etc that surround us.

One question is whether it is possible to amplify these signals from our minds. It is already known that a spike in brainwave strength occurs when people are experiencing a state of heightened emotion; most commonly fear or pain.

There have been some documented events of telepathic activity in people going through these states. For example, there have been parents who know at once that their child is in trouble, even though they might be on the other side of the world. Is there something about these spikes in brainwave activity which causes telepathic communication? Is the fact that the two people are related a factor; or perhaps, is it merely coincidence?

As you have no doubt become aware as you have read this, no scientific research has provided evidence that telepathy is an absolute fact. But that is the science of today and it is beginning to change. With an increase in studies we are seeing that telepathy does actually exist. And anyone can learn how to be telepathic if they receive the proper training.

I am sure my thoughts can be heard by quite a few people. Not only where I live, but also for about 8 blocks a way by the Hospital and my Doctor’s office, as well as The eye Doctor and Maybe they can be heard by people on the street, on their cell phones or computer screens. I call it hyperawareness I have been able to “read” people since I was a child. I could tell if they were near and if it concerned me, I could tell what they were thinking. If it was not about me, I ignored them. I can talk to my daughter with my mind. She has this hyperawareness also. There are some Dr.s I can communicate with through my mind. ONe Dr. was able to draw a drawing of a cell phone, just like the drawing I was drawing from out in the hall.

I don’t know how I do it. It is a puzzle to me. The only thing I can think of is that It is God’s power working in me somehow. Therefore I am not afraid. It is kind of hard to realize every thought you have is sent out and heard by everybody. Also They can hear when I play my keyboard when I have the headset plugged in and it is impossible for them to hear it, but they do. ONe time I turned it off and played it with no sound and they still heard it.
    Ain’t that amazing?
I don’t know if it is telepathy or what, but I do know it is real.
Very real. It is very sobering I tell you.

OH, by the way my daughter lives in MIssissippi and I live in CT.

I don’t know what else to say.
