It is common for people to want to know what telepathy is. This is being able to communicate with another individual over space and without being in the same room or on the phone.

Is it objective, rational, scientific, even sensible to call someone 'telepathic'? Well, of course, most people would say, 'no; that's just science fiction, not science fact.' Yet, they would not stop to consider that we all can fly…Talk to other people who are not even there with us, who may even be in another nation, instantly…See people who are not there without having to exercise our imaginations…and so many other amazing things.
We all know that we human use only about 10% of their brain while the rest remains unknown to them.

Mental telepathy involves directly communicating through thought transference without using the normal senses, but that can be a very broad-based definition. Things like getting hunches, or having premonitions could fall under the category, but there are some people that can read a person's inner most thoughts without any other signals and no close relationship to the person. Mental telepathy covers basic functions that could be close to random guesses to very complex levels of thought transfer abilities. Different levels of mental telepathy can best be demonstrated in these instances:

Telepathy is something which many people look at with a great deal of skepticism. It's a concept; after all, which most of us are familiar with from the context of science fiction and other sources in popular culture. While telepathic abilities may seem beyond explanation, just consider the world we live in: people fly all over the world in a matter of hours, we are able to create flame in the palm of our hands with the use of a lighter and we receive information seemingly from the ether to our cell phones and computers. Not long ago, many of these things would be simply inconceivable.

Did you know that telepathy is something that you are completely capable of? In this sense, telepathy is the known as the mind to mind communication that occurs without any use of the five recognized physical senses. It is often done without words, and can even be performed over long distances.
Most people will dismiss the idea that telepathy actually does exist, because to them it seems impossible and the stuff of movies. And yet, if we stop to take a look around ourselves, at the world in which we live, we will see that people fly every day. Information flows around us linking computers and other high tech devices. We live in a world where we can seemingly make a flame appear in our hands all for the price of a simple lighter.
Mental telepathy has different meanings that can be a broad spectrum. Direct thought transference between people without using the five senses of sight, sound, taste, touch and smell is the most widely accepted meaning. There can be enormous differences in how that thought transfer or communication takes place, whether it is a hunch that proves right or being able to predict a plane crash happening at the moment it happens someplace else. Mental telepathy can encompass large ranges of thought transference from the most basic to more complex. We will attempt to understand the different meanings of mental telepathy.
